Blue Bird Eyepiece: Tele Vue 18mm Radian Notes: @ 50-yrds in hi-res mode	Telescope: Tele Vue-85 & Tele Vue-76 APO All bird images were taken by Mr. Mike Peoples through a Tele Vue-85 or Tele Vue-76 (where noted) telescope, setup with an Everbrite 90º diagonal, the indicated Tele Vue eyepiece, and a Nikon Coolpix 950 (1600 x 1200 pixels maximum resolution) digital camera. The camera's optical zoom was used to frame the image. A Tele Vue Radian Adapter was used to solidly mate the camera's non-removable lens to the Tele Vue eyepiece. The long eye relief designed into many of Tele Vue's eyepieces allows for afocal imaging with minimum vignetting. This system of "afocal" imaging is a convenient way to take telephoto images with cameras that have non-interchangeable lenses.
